R. Spark Incorporated t/a Spark Electrical Company is a full-service electrical construction organization which began in 1975, specializing in all phases of water, wastewater, ground water remediation, superfund cleanup, process, control and instrumentation work, including Design Build projects for infrastructure related projects.
WBE & SBE
Spark Electrical Company is proud to be a certified Women's Business Enterprise (WBE) and a Small Business Enterprise (SBE) with the State of New Jersey. The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey recognizes Spark with WBE and SBE certifications. As safety is paramount to our industry, Spark holds certifications with AVETTA and ISNET RAVS "A" rating for several vendors.
Experience
Spark's experience extends to many other phases of electrical construction including high and low voltage power, distribution systems, lighting, communications, fire alarm and fiber optic work including SCADA with the completion in 2002 of the SCADA Process Control Installation Project at the Bergen County Utilities Authority for $9 million.
Spark successfully handled Superstorm Sandy emergency clean up work in 2012 at the Passaic Valley Sewerage Authority. Work included restoration of MCC's and critical electrical equipment flooded by runoff water and sewerage.
Personnel Qualifications
Our personnel and highly qualified with many years of experience on this specialized work: We also incorporate skilled union labor on our projects. As the need arises, we work closely with IBEW Local Unions, 164,400,269,456, and are signatory to Local Union 102 to hire exceptionally skilled electricians. As a member of the National Electrical Contractor's Association, we stay engaged in the latest technology and implementing safety protocols and training, including confined space training.
